Wolves might try to move up in NBA Draft
Timberwovles president of basketball operations Flip Saunders tells the Pioneer Press that they're not "desperate" to trade up in the draft, but they still might give it a try.
As of now the Wolves hold the No. 9 overall selection in the June 27 NBA Draft. If they don't trade, history suggests they can still find a great player. Take a look at notable players taken ninth in the draft.
1997: Tracy McGrady, Toronto Raptors
1998: Dirk Nowitzki, Dallas Mavericks
1999: Shawn Marion, Phoenix Suns
2002: Amar'e Stoudemire, Phoenix Suns
