Wolves rookie Andrew Wiggins featured in GQ

Andrew Wiggins possesses enough physical talent to potentially become a great player in the NBA. That's why the Cleveland Cavaliers picked him No. 1 overall in the NBA Draft... and then traded him to Minnesota for Kevin Love. But maybe the only thing more impressive than Wiggins' basketball talent is his ability to walk out of a closet looking like a million bucks.

"A lot of players come into the league and don't worry about their style, but not me," Wiggins told GQ, which profiled the rookie's fashion sense. "I'm going in with a bang."

There's no question he did just that, wearing on Draft night what GQ called a "bespoke floral-print tux jacket that looked as smooth as his jumper."

See for yourself.

GQ brought the rookie in for a photo shoot to help him dress like a pro. You can check out the insanely expensive outfits – $2,000 to $6,000 for a single outfit – with the links above, but Wiggins says he doesn't always dress in high fashion. He simply wants his clothes to fit and look good.

Wiggins will walk through the tunnels of FedExForum dressed to the nines before his NBA regular season debut Wednesday night against the Grizzlies in Memphis. What he does from there will determine how good the top pick in the NBA Draft will be.

Like his fashion, he wants to be a great basketball player – both offensively and defensively.

“The best players of all time have always been two-way players,” Wiggins said, according to the Star Tribune. “I want to be great.”

His opportunity to shine like his black leather jeans in his GQ shoot is just a day away.
