Utah Jazz 80

Minnesota Timberwolves 94

The Minnesota Timberwolves returned to Target Center with a 94-80 victory over the Utah Jazz, Wednesday night. It was Minnesota's first victory in more than a week.

1. Rubio, Towns dealing in double-doubles

One veteran and one rookie helped lead the Wolves to the victory. Ricky Rubio had his fourth double-double of the season and matched the franchise record with 17 assists. Rubio also scored 10 points on the night.

Wolves rookie Karl-Anthony Towns also had a big night, finishing with 25 points and 10 rebounds in the victory – his 16th double-double.

2. Utah shooting struggles

The Jazz struggled to hit shots Wednesday night. Utah shot just 35 percent from the floor and were just 10-of-39 from behind the arc. They also turned the ball over 19 times.

The win means the Wolves improve to 9-0 this year when they hold their opponents to 95 or fewer points.

3. Wiggins all over the floor

Andrew Wiggins had 17 points. He didn't shoot the best – just 6-of-17 from the floor and only 5-of-8 from the free throw line. Still, Wiggins was able to capitalize on plays like this.
