The Timberwolves didn't look like an injury-depleted team on Tuesday night when they used a quick start to bury San Antonio and cruised to a 110-91 win at Target Center.

The Wolves were without Nikola Pekovic, Kevin Martin, Chase Budinger and Shabazz Muhammad on Tuesday. All were out with injuries.

It was also the first time the Wolves have beaten the Spurs in three meetings this year, according to the Star Tribune.

The game was originally supposed to be played, earlier in the season, in Mexico City, but was postponed after smoke was reported inside the arena. The game was rescheduled for Minnesota.

The Wolves jumped out to a quick lead in the first quarter and didn't slow down in the second as they built a 20-point halftime lead.

Corey Brewer finished with 14, but he was outstanding early for Minnesota, leading the team with 12 points in the first half.

Ricky Rubio had one of his best offensive nights in his career. He scored 23 points and dished out seven assists and led the team to the win. He also finished with a career high in field goals with 10.

Kevin Love had another double-double for the Wolves. He scored 19 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. Gorgui Dieng continued to impress. He also had a double-double with 12 points and 15 boards.

The Wolves (39-38) host Chicago tomorrow night.
