The Minnesota Lynx open the playoffs at home Friday against the Los Angeles Sparks and you might be lucky enough to go to the game.

At 8 a.m. Wednesday, the Lynx, along with help from Apple Valley native and Timberwolves point guard Tyus Jones, are giving away 500 tickets to Game 1.

The first 250 fans to log onto LynxBasketball.com will have a chance to win a pair.

According to KARE, Jones is buying the tickets.

The 500 tickets will be handed out in the form of 250 pairs.

Jones starred at Apple Valley High School where he won Minnesota's Mr. Basketball award. In April, he was named the most outstanding player of the Final Four and led Duke to the NCAA national championship.

The Timberwolves made a trade on draft day to acquire Jones.
