The Wolves open the season Friday night at home against the Sacramento Kings, but the starting lineup is still a mystery. Rick Adelman wasn't ready to name his starters on Thursday, but the probable lineup includes Luke Ridnour, Brandon Roy, Andrei Kirilenko, Derrick Williams and Nikola Pekovic.

The Timberwolves opened the season with a 92-80 win over Sacramento Friday night at Target Center. Without Kevin Love and Ricky Rubio, Minnesota was led by J.J. Barea's 21 points off the bench.

Wolves forward Kevin Love is averaging 26.1 points and 14.9 rebounds. J.J. Barea is recovering from a strained right hamstring and is still questionable.

Preview: Wolves vs. Rockets

Minnesota (11-12) will try to defeat the Rockets (13-10) and former coach Kevin McHale again Saturday night in Minneapolis. The back and forth battle began two weeks ago when the Rockets beat the Wolves at the Target Center. Minnesota was victorious in the rematch Monday night in Houston. The Timberwolves are once again one win shy from a .500 record after beating the Nets Friday night.

Preview: Wolves vs. Hawks

The Timberwolves (4-7) are going for back-to-back wins Saturday night at Phillips Arena in Atlanta. Minnesota defeated the New Orleans Hornets 87-80 Friday night. The Hawks (8-4) are aiming for their 11th straight win over the Wolves.

Preview: Wolves vs. Jazz

The Wolves (7-8) hope to extend their winning streak to four-games when they visit the Jazz (9-5) Saturday night. Minnesota is just one win below .500 after an exciting last second 101-98 victory over the L.A. Clippers Friday night. Utah lost their last game 94-91 to the Dallas Mavericks.
