The Minnesota Timberwolves would not go down to a team from another country two consecutive games, heading to Canada to take down the Toronto Raptors in their second exhibition game of the preseason, 101-89.

The Wolves lost to CSKA Moscow 108-106 in overtime in their exhibition opener Sunday, a game in which they lacked on defense, but atoned for such performances tonight holding Toronto to 43 percent from the field while outrebounding the Raptors 41-35.

Kevin Love had 20 points and nine rebounds to lead the Wolves in both categories, while J.J. Barea, seeing his first preseason action, added 12 off the bench in a game Minnesota played 13 guys.

The Wolves are back in action Thursday in Sioux Falls to take on the Miami Heat and Nate Wolters, who makes his first trip back to South Dakota since his standout collegiate career at South Dakota State.
