Zach LaVine is doing a bunch of really Minnesota things

If you wanted to write a "How to act like a Minnesotan" guide, Zach LaVine's last two weeks would be a good template.

The 19-year-old Timberwolves rookie has been all over the metro recently, interacting with fans and doing things that can only be described as uniquely Minnesotan.

If he began kissing babies, you might even mistake him for a political candidate.

We still need a few photos of LaVine fishing on a lake and playing some pick-up hockey at a local park to make it official – but the Washington native is pretty darn close to having this Minnesota thing down. (We should probably make sure he has some Prince albums, too.)

Anyway, he looks like he's having a lot of fun with it, and both he and the Timberwolves PR team aren't shy about sharing his adventures.

So without further ado, here's the story of Zach LaVine learning how to Minnesota, told through social media posts.

... then visited one of Minnesota's signature restaurants for one of the state's signature meals:

On Friday he stopped by a local school for a surprise visit, then hit the streets of downtown Minneapolis to sign some autographs and "meet" a Minnesota icon.

Then a few blocks away threw out the first pitch at the Twins game:
