Aug. 31 Novak Weather: Unseasonably cold air coming

Next week's cold spell that is forecast to encompass Minnesota and much of the Northern Plains and Upper Midwest will bring what Novak Weather says will be "amazingly cold for this time of year." 

Temps 10-15, or perhaps even 15-25 degrees below normal will be commons. Daytime highs in the 60s are expected, with overnight lows dropping to near 40 throughout Minnesota, with some sub-40 temps even possible in parts of the state.
