So long, summer. It was a good 2020.

The last day of August is officially the final day of meteorological summer, so while Minnesota will still get some healthy warmth this week, all signs in the forecast point to a big-time cool down on the way.

Meteorologist Sven Sundgaard is already honing in on days next week that could see high temperatures struggle to reach 60, while overnight lows could dip into the 40s in the Twin Cities for the first time since May.

Plus, Sundgaard looks back at the summer Minnesota had and reveals poll results for what Minnesotans want next: more summer-like weather or cooler temperatures.
