Thursday's weather briefing with Novak Weather focuses on what appears to be a developing chance of snow – maybe enough to cause some problems on the roads in southern Minnesota – on Sunday.
Here's what the Thursday afternoon radar simulation from the NAM computer model is showing for Sunday.
As you can see, it has snow pushing through southern Minnesota. We'll have to wait to see how it pans out, but it's precisely what Novak Weather is talking about.
The NAM, however, is the most robust with snowfall at this time. According to the National Weather Service, the chance for more than a few inches of snow is a possibility, but not guaranteed just yet.
Novak Weather also touches on what should be a nice, warm start to next week as Chinook winds usher in warmer temperatures.
