Here's how much snow fell in Minnesota on Monday

Mankato got nailed.

Monday's snowstorm wound up being the biggest of the season for quite a few areas of southern Minnesota, with the Mankato area getting slugged with a foot of snow. 

Rochester saw 8-10 inches pile up while areas just south of the Twin Cities metro picked up 6-9 inches of heavy, wet snow. The highest total of the metro area was 5.4 inches in Rosemount. MSP Airport had 2.9 inches, while the National Weather Service office in Chanhassen measured 4.1 inches.
