Jan. 27 Novak Weather: Will Saturday storm system impact Minnesota?
While it looks like Iowa, southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois are in line for the greatest impacts from a storm system that will deliver a bout of wintry precipitation this coming weekend, Minnesota will be on the northern fringes and could see some minor impacts.
"I'm not expecting a massive snowstorm, but we could easily pick up 2, 3, 4 inches of snow, especially over southern Minnesota," says Novak Weather.

Novak Weather expects a more active pattern to take hold next week, with potential for a big storm later next week.
"An active weather pattern starting this weekend and lasting into next week," says Novak Weather.
