Sven Sundgaard continues to track the potential for some snowfall in southern Minnesota on Saturday, though the model trends continue to point to the most significant impacts happening in Iowa and Illinois.
The best chance for a few inches of snow in Minnesota is currently in the far southern counties, mainly south of Interstate 90. What will the Twin Cities and other parts of the state get? Maybe an inch or two, though the forecast details are still a bit fuzzy three days out.
Meanwhile, Sundgaard says all of the models are pointing to potential for a big snowstorm impacting the central U.S. next week, though details this far out are impossible to pin down. Nonetheless, it's something to keep an eye out for in coming video briefings.
