Are we finally going to break into warmer and stormier weather in Minnesota? As meteorologist Sven Sundgaard explains in his May 10 weather briefing, Minnesota has been dominated by a cool, dry pattern.
"We should be near 70 by the end of the week and then into next week we should see that pattern continue to improve, so warmer than normal conditions are possible next week," Sundgaard says.
"It also does mean we'll see some thunderstorms," he added. "That warmer pattern also will yield some more precipitation."
Temps stay in the 50s Monday before daily highs gradual warm through the week.
