Video Duration:

Today's weather is sponsored by Grand Casino: Good, clean, sanitized fun!

Here's what Novak Weather is zooming in on during his Nov. 18 video briefing:

- Nice WARM day ahead for Thursday

- Gradual cool down, but still mild as we head through the weekend.

- Potential for a strong storm system early next week that should feature some SNOW/ICE across much of the Upper Midwest.

As for the big storm potential next week, the National Weather Service is thinking exactly what Novak Weather is: There's no guarantee because the models are still all over the place.

The NWS says by looking at the models "you can find just about anything your heart desires for Tuesday/Wednesday next week, from relatively mild and dry, to a big snowstorm."
