The quiet weather pattern that's had ahold of Minnesota for the past month is fading and things could get more interesting in the weeks ahead.
According to Tom Novak of Novak Weather, this week will be windy with a chance of showers impacting the state Wednesday. Temps drop later this week, and that's when the situation gets more interesting for the weekend and early next week.
"This is a setup where we could get at least some flakes in the air as we head into next week," said Novak.
