Oct. 5 Weather with Sven: After the chill, here comes the warmup

Temps might even hit 80 over the coming week.

Temperatures hit freezing in the Twin Cities for the first time this fall, but Minnesota is set for a warmup over the coming week.

Expert meteorologist Sven Sundgaard says that the mercury could hit as high as 80 in the next several days, as Minnesota gets a taste of "summer in fall."

It comes after a recent chill in the Twin Cities that saw temperatures drop to 32 at MSP Airport.

Also on the agenda for Sven today is a look at the California fires and the situation with the Ozone layer above Antarctica.
