Two key midrange computer models are painting different pictures for what Minnesota's weather could be like early next week. 

As Novak Weather explains, the American computer model guidance hints at much colder temps in Minnesota, while the European model delays the surge of cold air and keeps most of Minnesota in a warmer pattern through early next week. 

Depending on which scenario unfolds, the weather impacts could be significant.
