Sept. 24 Novak Weather: Blast of crisp air next week for MN
The weather picture remains rather quiet across Minnesota, and it is poised to remain that way through the weekend, according to Tom Novak of Novak Weather.
But before a pleasant weekend, Friday will be a bit of a September scorcher across southern Minnesota, with temps soaring into the mid 80s – maybe even a 90-degree reading is possible in far southern parts of the state.
The winds pick up Sunday and that's a signal for some cool, crisp air invading Minnesota from Canada, and the extended forecast from Novak Weather certainly gives a fall feel as high temps some days next week might struggle to reach 60.
