It was 33 degrees Friday morning in Hibbing. What, the State Fair stops for one year and all of a sudden Minnesota is trading in sweaty days for frost?
Additional frost possibilities are possible next week as polar air plunges south, but not before parts of Minnesota have a shot at thunderstorms late Saturday. According to the Storm Prediction Center, there is a slight risk of severe storms, with hail being the main threat, in southern Minnesota.
