The snow fell furiously Tuesday night and it wound up piling up to 10 inches in the Brainerd Lakes Area, while the Twin Cities saw anywhere from 2-6 inches.
According to snowfall reports on the official National Weather Service page, the most snow in any one location was one mile north of Brainerd where 10.1 inches was recorded. Ten inches fell 12 miles south of Grand Rapids, while Duluth picked up 7.2 inches.
The top snowfall total reported in the Twin Cities was 5.5 inches at MSP Airport.
