Very hot and humid Tuesday; severe storms late if they pop

A break from humidity today but HOT Tuesday. Heat index values will be near 100+ as dew points reach tropical levels (70s), in addition to 90+ high temperatures. 

We’ll have a few 90s this week but with breaks in between. 

The next chance of thunder comes Tuesday night but may be hard to get storms to pop through the cap. SPC has a slight risk but looks over-blown like Sunday's risk, which resulted in mostly heavy rain and some lightning.
