Way Over Our Heads podcast: Storms have 'potential for mischief' this week in Minnesota

Heads up for storms on Tuesday night, then maybe again Friday and Saturday.
Author:

Get ready for what could be a stormy week in Minnesota, as climatologist Kenny Blumenfeld says there's "potential for mischief" in our skies.

What's he mean by that? Tuesday's severe threat will be a "close call," but more bouts of nasty storms might be possible later in the week. It's one of the many topics discussed in this week's episode of the Way Over Our Heads podcast.

Also on this week's episode is acronym bingo with meteorological terms, a look back at the month of June, a wet and stormy first week of July, and the 20th anniversary of the "Boundary Waters Blowdown."

Blumenfeld and Jim du Bois host the weekly Minnesota-based weather and climate podcast, which you can listen to on their website right here.

What is the Way Over Our Heads podcast all about?

"Take one professional broadcaster who loves the weather, add one professional climatologist who can't stop talking about it, then start recording (often at a bar!), and you have Way Over Our Heads--a roughly weekly podcast that examines, discusses and sometimes pokes fun at Minnesota's wide-ranging weather and climate."
