A break from the heat with severe storms possible east this afternoon. Sunny & windy Thursday with the HEAT returning this weekend. Will we hit triple digits Sunday or Monday?

All of that in the video today. Meanwhile, the Storm Prediction Center has increased the severe threat today in extreme southeast Minnesota and the southern half of Wisconsin, where a moderate risk (level 4 of 5) is now in place. 


The hatched area of the graphic below is where strong tornadoes (EF2+) are possible.
