1,000 dogs to compete in Mpls. Kennel Club Dog Show

More than 1,000 dogs are expected to compete this weekend at the Minneapolis Kennel Club Dog Show in the Twin Cities, WCCO-TV reported.

About 125 breeds will be represented in the show, which will be held at Canterbury Park Saturday and Sunday.

The Minneapolis Kennel Club, the oldest kennel club in the state, was founded in 1933 and held its first dog show in the old Minneapolis Auditorium in 1934.
