$1000 Minute Contest

CONTEST DESCRIPTION:

The $1000 Minute contest every weekday morning with Ben & Dana. Listeners will be prompted on air to call in to participate in the contest for a chance to win $1000. Participants will be given 10 questions to answer in 60 seconds. If all 10 questions are answered correctly they will win $1000. If the participant is unable to answer all of the questions correctly they will be awarded $10 per correct answer.

HOW TO ENTER:

To participate in the contest, listeners must do the following:

1.Listen for the cue to call in with Ben & Dana every weekday morning.

2.Be the correct number of caller in order to participate.

ELIGILITY RESTRICTIONS:

1.Contestants must be legal US citizens, 18 years of age or older.

2.Employees of Northern Lights Broadcasting, Ltd. /KTWN, its affiliates, sponsors, agencies and/or the immediate family and/or household members of said employees are ineligible to participate or win.

3.By participating in a Northern Lights Broadcasting, Ltd. /KTWN-FM contest, participants agree to be bound by the official rules and decisions of Northern Lights Broadcasting, Ltd. /KTWN-FM.

4.Only one (1) entry per person and one (1) winner per household (including register-to-win, call-in, mail-in, fax-in, website and all other contests) within a 30 day period.

5.Winnings are valid for 45 days from the day won. Any unclaimed prize or winnings will be forfeited after the 45th day from date of winning.

6.No substitution, transfer, or assignment of prizes are allowed. Northern Lights Broadcasting, Ltd. /KTWN-FM reserves the right to substitute prizes with another prize of equal or greater value.

7.Winners are required to claim prizes at the KTWN-FM Business Office at 420 North 5th Street, Minneapolis, Suite 150, MN 55401 and must provide proper picture identification to redeem the prize.

8.Picture identification must be valid and must match information provided at the time the prize was won.

EXECUTION:

1.During the Contest, listeners will be given a cue to call in to participate in the Contest.

2.The participant will be given 60 seconds to answer 10 trivia questions correctly.

3.All 10 questions must be answered correctly in order to win $1000. If the participant is unable to answer all 10 questions correctly they will be awarded $10 per correct answer.

4.All decisions made by KTWN-FM / Northern Lights Broadcasting, Ltd. management staff regarding any aspect of this contest are final.

PRIZES:

1.Prizes are non-transferable and no substitutions or credit redemptions will be made. If a winner cannot use the prize for any reason (i.e. schedule conflict, age requirement), the prize is forfeited.

2.Winnings are valid for 45 days from the day won. Any unclaimed prize or winnings will be forfeited after the 45th day from date of winning.

LEGAL CONDITIONS:

1.By participating in the contest, contestants agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest, and must sign a release prior to acceptance of the prize. By entering this contest, each contestant agrees to comply with these Official Rules and with the decisions of the contest sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all aspects relating to the contest.

2.All contest winners will be required to sign a release prior to acceptance of any prize valued at $600.00 or greater. Pursuant to the release, the contestants will agree to hold KTWN-FM / Northern Lights Broadcasting, Ltd., and its officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives, as well as its subsidiaries, affiliates, general sponsors, promotional partners, harmless against any and all claims or liability, directly or indirectly related to or arising from the contest winner’s participation in the “$1000 Minute” contest and provide a form of identification (driver’s license, social security card or photo ID), before prize will be awarded.

3.So long as no contestant is adversely affected in any material way, KTWN-FM / Northern Lights Broadcasting, Ltd., reserves the right to make changes to the rules of the contest and/or discontinue a contest without prior notice.

4.No purchase is necessary. The contest is void where prohibited. This contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.

5.Northern Lights Broadcasting, Ltd. /KTWN-FM is not responsible for the inability of any contestant to complete or continue a telephone call due to equipment malfunction, busy lines, and inadvertent disconnections.

6.Failure of a contestant to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant disqualification.

7.Northern Lights Broadcasting, Ltd. and KTWN-FM, its representatives, agents and employees are not responsible for any liabilities arising directly or indirectly from the award or use of any prize.

8.Northern Lights Broadcasting, Ltd. /KTWN-FM is not responsible for locating winner address and phone information in the event the information has changed since the time of the start of the contest.

9.KTWN-FM and Northern Lights Broadcasting, Ltd., its subsidiaries, its general partner(s), its affiliates, participating, sponsors and promotional partners will not assume any responsibility for any changes in the execution of the contest, including cancellation of the contest as a result of the occurrence of events not within the control of KTWN-FM / Northern Lights Broadcasting, Ltd., its subsidiaries, its general partner(s), its affiliates, participating sponsors/promotional partners and other radio stations, such as Acts of God, strikes and terrorist acts. In the event, such an act should occur, reasonable attempts will be made to offer the winner comparable prize(s) currently being offered by participating stations in lieu of the prize originally awarded.

10.All decisions of Northern Lights Broadcasting, Ltd. /KTWN-FM regarding this contest are final.

11.Copies of these contest rules shall be available in the station’s offices during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, during the Contest Period. Or to receive a copy, send a self addressed stamped envelope to “$1000 Minute”, 420 North 5th Street, Suite 150, Minneapolis, MN 55401.
