103-year-old Rochester woman takes her first motorcycle ride

It was a dream come true.

An adventurous 103-year-old Rochester woman's dream came true Friday, when she went whipping around on a motorcycle.

The Post Bulletin says Bertilla Mullenbach had been wanting to ride once since her long-time dentist, Fred Carlson, started telling her stories of his and his wife's travels on his Harley.

The paper says he tossed out the idea that she might take a ride, and Bert held him up on the offer.

Friday morning, Bert was decked out in leather gear and ready for her ride.

And apparently she had a blast.

Carlson told the paper that he could hear her from behind saying, "I'm loving it. I'm loving it."

KTTC said Bert only had one complaint: ""He couldn't hear me!"
