Update: a 12-year-old boy who went missing in the north metro this weekend has been found.
Dylan Niesen hadn't been seen since early Saturday morning, and was considered missing or a runaway.
He was located "alive and well" on Sunday afternoon, the Blaine Police Department announced. No other details were available.
"We thank everyone who sent in tips, called the Anoka County Dispatch center with info and assisted us in closing this investigation with the best possible outcome," Sgt. Jeff Warner wrote in the update.

Police are asking for the public's help in the search for a young boy who went missing north of the Twin Cities this weekend.
The Blaine Police Department is trying to find 12-year-old Dylan Niesen, who is missing or a possible runaway, the department said in a news release Sunday afternoon.
He was last seen on Saturday morning around 10 a.m., riding his bike in the area of 128th and Fillmore St. NE, the release says.
Niesen is described as five feet tall and 110 pounds with a "husky" build, brown eyes, and brown hair that's short on the sides and longer on top.
His bike is a black, "BMX style" Mongoose with foot pegs extending from the wheels.
Niesen also has black and white braces on his teeth, the release says. No clothing description is available at this time.
