Neiman Marcus in downtown Minneapolis, the retailer's only Minnesota store, is clearing out its leftover inventory and will close at the end of January, retail blogger Allison Kaplan reports. The Dallas-based luxury department store has already removed precious and designer jewelry, but there are still several deals in women's, men's and children's apparel.
Last summer, Neiman Marcus announced it would be closing the Gaviidae Common store in July 2013 after more than 21 years. The upscale retailer will begin its Good Buy Farewell sale on Jan. 18.
Earlier this week, Macy's also slashed prices at its soon-to-be-closed department store in downtown St. Paul.
