13-year-old critically injured in St. Paul hit-and-run
St. Paul police are looking for the driver involved in what is believed to have been a hit-and-run that critically injured a 13-year-old boy late Monday afternoon near University Avenue and Grotto Street, the Pioneer Press reports.
An officer in his squad car at about 5:30 p.m. discovered the injured teen, who suffered a head injury but was expected to survive, the newspaper reported. He was taken to Regions Hospital. Police are seeking witnesses. Anyone with information is urged to call investigators at 651-266-5722.
