Drug court supporters to rally in St. Paul

Gov. Mark Dayton and Minnesota Supreme Court Chief Justice Lorie Gildea will take part in a rally supporting the state's drug courts, the Associated Press reports.

They'll join a number of judges and prosecutors at the Capitol Rotunda from 10 a.m. to noon on Monday.

Minnesota has 50 drug courts prescribe treatment and supervision for non-violent adults, juveniles, families, DWI offenders, veterans and others

Officials say drug courts are a proven solution that saves lives, reunites families and saves taxpayers money.
