Edward Jones Mortgage, a subsidiary of San Francisco-based Wells Fargo, is closing its office in St. Louis Park, Minn., next month as a joint venture comes to an end, the Business Journal reports.

Edward Jones notified Minnesota's labor officials that more than 200 workers could lose their jobs. An employee who answered the phone Wednesday told the Journal the operation will close March 7.

Last October, the Business Journal reported Wells Fargo signed a long-term lease in St. Louis Park and tripled its office space to consolidate suburban workers.
