Video: Man rescued after falling into Bloomington sinkhole

The Bloomington Police Department told the Pioneer Press a 65-year-old man was hurt Sunday morning after falling into an eight-to-nine foot sinkhole.

KSTP-TV says the local man fell while walking with his wife and their two dogs around 8:45 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of West 102nd Street and Scarborough Road.

He was taken to a nearby hospital with injuries to his face and shoulder.

The cause of the sinkhole is under investigation.
