Officials pulled two bodies from the Mississippi River in St. Cloud Sunday afternoon, but investigators don't believe the two incidents are connected.
Police were called to the river just before 12:30 p.m. to check into a possible person on the ice, the St. Cloud Times reports.
They found a woman's body south of the Granite City Crossing bridge, according to reports. (See map at right.)
And while they were investigating, police found a man's body nearby, WJON says.
Police don't believe the incidents are connected, and the identities of the victims haven't been released.
Police told the St. Cloud Times and WJON they had taken a missing person call earlier in the day, noting the missing person could be the woman who was found on the ice.
The man's body appeared to have been in the river for a while, KNSI reports.
