Police say they don't yet suspect that two weekend homicides about eight blocks apart in north Minneapolis are related, the Star Tribune reports.

No arrests have been made as of Monday morning, the newspaper reports. The identities of the two slain men had not been released by the Hennepin County medical examiner's office.

One killing was at about 10 p.m. Sunday in the 3900 block of Dupont Avenue N., and the other was just after 11 p.m. Saturday, in an alley behind a home in the 3300 block of Girard Avenue N., local media reported.
