2 Minnesota Millionaire Raffle tickets sold in Stearns, Beltrami counties

Two Minnesotans are starting the new year as millionaires.

The St. Cloud Times reports that lottery tickets worth $1 million each were sold in Stearns and Beltrami counties.

The winning tickets were drawn Wednesday during the Minnesota State Lottery's annual Minnesota Millionaire Raffle.

The numbers of the winning tickets are 077692 and 566227.

The lottery annually draws two $1 million raffle ticket winners on New Year's Day.

Five other winning tickets worth $100,000 each were sold in Wright and Morrison counties, the Times says.

The lottery awards several prizes in the raffle, including five $25,000 prizes, as well as vehicles, trips and smaller amounts of cash.

Last year's winning $1 million Minnesota Millionaire Raffle tickets were sold in Crow Wing and Pine counties, the Brainerd Dispatch said.

The lottery annually sells up to 600,000 Minnesota Millionaire Raffle tickets for $10 each.

This year's winners have until Jan. 2, 2015, to claim their prizes.
