2 people found dead in Buffalo Wild Wings parking lot

Officials are still trying to figure out what killed them.

Two young adults were found dead in a Buffalo Wild Wings parking lot in Coon Rapids earlier this week.

Police were called to the parking lot at 3395 River Rapids Drive NW at 3:38 p.m. on Thursday to investigate a report of people possibly passed out in a car, according to a news release from the Anoka County Sheriff's Office.

When officers arrived, they found a man and a woman dead in a running car.

The Anoka County Medical Examiner has identified the pair as 20-year-old Alissa Spah of Andover and 22-year-old Antonio Perfetti from Ham Lake.

What killed them is still unknown at this time.

Authorities say that it appears their deaths were accidental – there were no obvious signs of trauma to either of the victims.

An autopsy was performed on Friday. The medical examiner listed the time of death at 3:52 p.m. Thursday, but the cause and manner of death are still pending.

Anoka County Sheriff’s Office, Coon Rapids Police Department and the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office are still investigating.

GoMN will provide updates as they happen.
