2 riders dead in weekend motorcycle crash in Blue Earth County
A tragic motorcycle accident this weekend in southern Minnesota, where two riders died after crashing into a car on Highway 68.
The incident occurred in Blue Earth County early Saturday afternoon when an eastbound motorcycle – carrying its driver and a passenger – broadsided a Cadillac apparently crossing the highway, according to a State Patrol report.
The two people on the motorcycle, 37-year-old Nicholas Bissette, the driver, and 38-year-old Corinne Claridge-Bollman, were killed.
According to the Star Tribune, they were a couple from Mankato.
Meanwhile, the driver of the Cadillac, which the paper identified as a 30-year-old woman from Judson, had "no apparent injury."
The two children traveling with her were also unharmed, the State Patrol reports.
