The incident occurred in Blue Earth County early Saturday afternoon when an eastbound motorcycle – carrying its driver and a passenger – broadsided a Cadillac apparently crossing the highway, according to a State Patrol report.

The two people on the motorcycle, 37-year-old Nicholas Bissette, the driver, and 38-year-old Corinne Claridge-Bollman, were killed.

According to the Star Tribune, they were a couple from Mankato.

Meanwhile, the driver of the Cadillac, which the paper identified as a 30-year-old woman from Judson, had "no apparent injury."

The two children traveling with her were also unharmed, the State Patrol reports.
