2 students from Braham High School killed in a crash

Grief counselors and clergy will be available at the school on Sunday.

Two students from Braham High School in east-central Minnesota died a car crash Saturday. 

Gavin Butenhoff, an 11th grader, and Alexis Hasser, a senior, died in the crash, according to a Facebook post from school Superintendent Ken Gagner.

Judging from other Facebook posts, the pair were boyfriend and girlfriend.

Details of what caused the crash and where it happened are unclear at this point. 

Braham High School will be open Sunday from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. for students, staff, and community members where there will be counselors and clergy on-hand. 

"This is a time a deep sadness for our Braham Community," said Gagner. "We offer our love and support for all those hurting."
