Another person has died as the result of a shooting a week ago in Granite Falls, Minn.

Chris Panitzke of Redwood Falls, 28, died Sunday at Hennepin County Medical Center, as a result of multiple gunshot wounds, his family said, KARE 11 reported.

He and the woman reported to be his girlfriend, Kara Monson, 26, were discovered in her home early in the morning of Sept. 2. Panitzke was discovered critically injured; Monson was found dead at the scene. She was the mother of a 5-year-old daughter, media sources have reported.

The "person of interest" in the case is 28-year-old Andrew Joseph Dikken, Monson's former boyfriend, whom police are still seeking. His pickup truck was found north of Belview, Minn., which is about 20 miles southeast of Granite Falls.

Monson’s cousins said Dikken and Monson had dated for years, WCCO reported.

Dikken is described as 5 feet, 11 inches, 160 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information is urged to call the Granite Falls Police Department, the Yellow Medicine County Sheriff's Office, or 911. The West Central Tribune has more photos of him.

Investigators have stressed that Dikken may be armed and dangerous and that he should not be approached.
