Southdale Center, the nation's first enclosed regional shopping mall, announced it will add three new stores to its retail lineup this fall, the Business Journal reports.
The new shops include:
- Sperry Top-Siders, an Indiana-based shoe manufacturer. This will be the company's first Minnesota store.
- Vera Bradley, an Indiana.-based company that sells handbags, luggage and backpacks. The brand also has a retail location at the Mall of America.
- Ohio-based Kay Jewelers is also returning to the Edina shopping center after a two year absence.
Freshii, a Canadian fast-food franchise that serves wraps, soups, salads and frozen yogurt, will join the mall's dining pavilion this year, according to the mall's Facebook page.
Southdale completed a multimillion dollar renovation project last fall with hopes of attracting new attracting tenants and shoppers.
