Here are the 31 new foods at the Minnesota State Fair this year

Here they are – the new foods at this year's Minnesota State Fair.

There are 31 new options on the menu, ranging from sweet desserts like scoops of safe-to-eat cookie dough, to fried, salty goodness such as deep-fried avocados.

Here are the new foods, and where you can find them. (We plucked a few photos – but you can see all the new foods here):

Bacon Fluffernutter

A grilled cinnamon bun sandwich stuffed with a bacon, peanut butter and marshmallow cream filling.

You can get it at the Sandwich Stop on the west side of Clough Street, between Carnes and Judson avenues.

Bacon Up Pup

A Belgian waffle made with bacon batter, that's dipped in chocolate, drizzled with maple syrup, and topped with whipped cream and more bacon. Oh, and it's on a stick.

You can get it at Granny's Kitchen Fudge Puppies, located on the east side of Underwood Street between Dan Patch and Carnes avenues (just outside the Food Building).

Bowl O'Dough

Scoops of cookie dough (it's safe to eat), available in four flavors: Brownie Batter Swirl (a mix of chocolate chip cookie dough and brownie batter); Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough (it's gluten free); European Cookie Butter (it's made with Biscoff European spiced cookies); and Lemon Ricotta Cheesecake with Blueberries.

It's served with a side of sea salt-flavored ice milk.

You can get it at Blue Moon Dine-In Theater, located on the northeast corner of Carnes Avenue and Chambers Street.

Breakfast Buddy Bowl

Waffle bowl filled with hash browns, maple syrup, scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese and bacon. It's topped with a biscuit, country sausage gravy and green onions.

You can get it at LuLu's Public House in the West End Market.

Brown Ale and Onion-Gouda Tipsy Pie

Onions, which are caramelized in Lift Bridge Brewery's Chestnut Hill Brown Ale, and smoked Gouda cheese, all baked in a pie crust. It's topped with an onion sugar and drizzled with a sweet beer glaze.

You can get it at Sara's Tipsy Pies in the Food Building.

Cheesy Nacho Corn on the Cob

Roasted corn on the cob, coated with crushed Dorito chips and nacho cheese.

You can get it at Texas Steak Out, on the west side of Underwood Street between Lee and Randall avenues.

Cherry Bombs

Red licorice dipped in batter, then deep fried and dusted with powdered sugar.

You can get it at Vegie Fries, located on the north side of Dan Patch Avenue between Underwood and Cooper streets.

Chocolate Popover with Peanut Butter Spread

A chocolate popover served with a side of peanut butter.

You can get it at LuLu's Public House in the West End Market.

Cranberry Wild Rice Meatballs

Swedish meatballs with cranberries and wild rice, covered with Lingonberry sauce.

You can get it at Hamline Church Dining Hall, located on the north side of Dan Patch Avenue between Underwood and Cooper streets.

Deep-Fried Avocado

Avocado slices dipped in a lightly-seasoned batter, then deep fried. It's served with a chipotle ranch dipping sauce.

You can get it at O'Gara's at the Fair, located on the southwest corner of Dan Patch Avenue and Cosgrove Street.

Deviation Stout Steak Taco Naan

Steak marinated in Modist Brewing's Deviation 004 (a Mexican dark chocolate stout), topped with shredded lettuce, pico de gallo, queso fresco, cilantro lime and jalapeño ranch sauces, and wrapped in warm naan flatbread.

You can get it at San Felipe Tacos in the Food Building.

Double Dose of Pork Belly

Ground pork belly burger topped with crisp smoked pork belly, pepper jack cheese, coleslaw and pickled onions. It's served on a toasted bun.

You can get it at RC's BBQ, located on the north side of West Dan Patch Avenue between Liggett and Chambers streets.

Duck Bacon Wontons

Duck bacon, grilled sweet corn and cream cheese inside a deep-fried wonton, and served with a dipping sauce.

You can get it at Giggles' Campfire Grill, located on the southeast corner of Lee Avenue and Cooper Street at The North Woods.

Fall Guy Breakfast Panini

Capicola and scrambled egg, topped with white cheddar cheese on ciabatta bread.

You can get it at The Hideaway Speakeasy in the Veranda in the Grandstand.

Honey Puffs (Loukamades)

Deep-fried dough balls, tossed in a sweet syrup and sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar.

You can get it at Dino's Gyros on the north side of Carnes Avenue between Nelson and Underwood streets.

Italian Bomba Sandwich

Beer-braised pork shoulder with prosciutto cotto ham, fontina cheese, giardiniera (Italian relish) and aioli. It's all on a grilled ciabatta roll.

You can get it at Mancini's al Fresco, located on the north side of Carnes Avenue between Nelson and Underwood streets.

Maple Cream Nitro Cold Press Coffee

Locally-sourced heavy cream and maple syrup in a cold brew coffee, then infused with nitrogen.

You can get it at Farmers Union Coffee Shop on the north side of Dan Patch Avenue, between Cooper and Cosgrove streets.

Memphis Totchos

Sliced bananas and sautéed bacon over tater tots, topped with peanut sauce.

You can get it at the Snack House in the Warner Coliseum.

Mini Sconuts

Buttermilk scone holes filled with chocolate, marshmallow and Nutella. They're deep fried and topped with powdered sugar. And they're gluten free.

You can get them at French Meadow Bakery and Cafe on the north side of Carnes Avenue between Nelson and Underwood streets.

Mobster's Caviar

Cream cheese dip with crab meat, green onions, fresh red pepper and water chestnuts. It's served with whole wheat flatbread crackers.

You can get it at The Hideaway Speakeasy in the Veranda in the Grandstand.

Pie'n the Sky Malt & Sundae

A sweet and tart mix of crunchy, spiced “airplane” cookies and lemon curd. It's topped with dark chocolate drizzle and served with vanilla ice cream. You can get it as a sundae or malt.

You can get it at the Dairy Goodness Bar in the Dairy Building.

Pizzarito

Flour tortilla filled with pepperoni, Italian sausage, risotto, mozzarella and marinara. It's coated with garlic butter, parmesan and Italian spices, and baked and served with a side of marinara.

You can get it at Green Mill, located on the east side of Cooper Street between Randall and Wright avenues.

Slow-Roasted Pork Mole Tamale

Fresh corn tamale with slow-roasted pork, mole coloradito sauce, and black bean and pineapple relish.

You can get it at Tejas Express, located in the Garden.

Sonoran Sausage: ONE.BAD.DOG

Tex-Mex sausage stuffed with pepper jack cheese, wrapped in bacon, and baked. It's served on a cornmeal-dusted bun with fresh corn salsa and a drizzle of avocado ranch sauce.

You can get it at Sausage Sister & Me in the Food Building.

Spicy Thai Noodles

Rice noodles and red curry with coconut milk. It's served with kaffir lime, basil leaves, bell peppers, galangal, onions and tomatoes. It's also gluten free.

Sweet Corn Blueberry Eclair

An eclair filled with sweet corn pastry cream and topped with blueberry glaze.

You can get it at Farmers Union Coffee Shop, located on the north side of Dan Patch Avenue between Cooper and Cosgrove streets.

Sweety’s Churros

Sweet potato, cinnamon and nutmeg kneaded into churro dough, deep-fried and served with a side of chocolate or maple-brown sugar sauce or whipped cream.

You can get it at Potato Man and Sweety, located on the west side of Liggett Street between Carnes and Judson avenues.

Swing Dancer Sandwich

Honey smoked salmon, cucumbers, capers, and cream cheese with fresh dill on pumpernickel.

You can get it at The Hideaway Speakeasy in the Veranda, Grandstand upper level.

Swine & Spuds

Bacon-wrapped pork belly and mashed potato croquettes served on a skewer. It's topped with either homestyle gravy, Korean Bulgogi barbecue sauce or sweet chili sauce.

You can get it at Swine & Spuds in the Warner Coliseum.

Triple Truffle Trotters

Waffle fries topped with sliced peppers, bacon with black diamond truffle oil mayo.

You can get it at The Blue Barn in the West End Market.

Wild Bill’s Breakfast Bake

Scrambled eggs, roasted chicken and chorizo sausage, baked and topped with salsa and a mix of lettuce, pickled red onions and cilantro.

There are 4 new food vendors, too

In addition to all the new foods at the fair this year, there are four new food vendors. Here's what they serve:

– The Hideaway Speakeasy (located in the Veranda Grandstand): appetizers, breakfast ciabattas and panini sandwiches.

– Miller's Flavored Cheese Curds (on Nelson Street, near the Giant Slide): cheese curds in three flavors – ranch, garlic and jalapeño.

– Que Viet (Cooper Street, outside of Merchandise Mart): bubble tea, giant egg rolls on-a-stick, garlic cream cheese wontons, and cold-brewed Vietnamese iced coffee – oh, and everything is gluten free.

– Waffle Cones (Wright Avenue and Cooper Street, at the Kidway): soft serve ice cream, dipped cones, floats, sundaes, and specialty shakes and malts.

The Minnesota State Fair runs from Aug. 24 through Labor Day, Sept. 4.
