It's no secret the Minnesota Vikings have dealt with their fair share of injuries this year. Entering Week Ten of the NFL season, the Vikings have eight players on their injured reserve list.

But the Vikings are not alone. There's been a lot of high-profile names on injured reserve lists around the league.

With the NFL regular season past its halfway point, Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com points out you could basically make a Pro Bowl team of them.

Of the 11 players that made the offensive list, four were Vikings players – in other words 36 percent of the players are from Minnesota.

  • QB Teddy Bridgewater
  • RB Adrian Peterson
  • LT Matt Kalil
  • T Andre Smith

Other notable players around the league who were on the list:

  • RB Jamaal Charles
  • WR Eric Decker
  • DL J.J. Watt
  • S DeAngelo Hall

Once placed on injured reserved, a player's season is essentially over. In 2012, the NFL modified the rule and now allows a team to activate just one player from their IR list in a season.

If the Vikings choose to activate any player from their IR it will be Adrian Peterson. He's making progress recovering from a torn meniscus and there's a chance he could in uniform by December.
