An executor of the estate of a Wisconsin man found 60 pounds of dynamite under the floor of the man's shed after he died, the Duluth News Tribune reports.

The executor had been looking Monday for items to sell at an estate sale and happened across the explosives in the metal shed on the Birchwood, Wis., property, the newspaper reports.

Neighbors were temporarily evacuated while the 30 2-pound sticks were removed by bomb squad officers. The sticks were detonated in a sand and gravel pit outside the village, the News Tribune reports.

It was unknown why the property owner was keeping the explosives.
