A 60-year-old man has been arrested after police found a whole heap of marijuana in his house.

St. Louis County Sheriff's Office posted a picture of the haul on its social media pages on Tuesday, showing the 36 pounds of "high grade" pot it found at a property in Fayal Township.

The street value of the marijuana is around $170,000, police say.

Several guns were also seized during the raid on Friday. The arrested man is from Eveleth.

It's the latest in a series of significant marijuana hauls involving Minnesotans the past few weeks.

West Fargo police pulled over a woman from Askov, Minnesota, to find her car contained $1.3 million in marijuana last month.

A few days later, police busted a house near the University of North Dakota campus in Grand Forks to find $60,000 worth of weed and $70,000 cash in the possession of two students from Minnesota.

And a man was arrested in northwest Minnesota after $400,000-worth of pot was found in the truck he was driving, the Pioneer Press reports.
