76-year-old robbed and injured, St. Paul police search for suspect

The St. Paul Police Department is asking the public for help finding a man suspected of robbing and injuring a 76-year-old man Thursday around 10:40 p.m.

According to WCCO, the suspect stole a soda from a Super America on University and Chatsworth, then asked the 76-year-old for a ride.

Police say the victim agreed. The suspect tricked the victim out of the car and threw him to the ground, the Facebook post says.

The suspect also stole the victim's jacket which has "Kodak" written on it, officials note.

The 76-year-old was found laying in the middle of the street with a broken arm and leg, officials say.
