An 85-year-old man died Sunday afternoon in a fire at a three-story brick Minneapolis apartment building, the Star Tribune reported.

Firefighters quickly doused the fire near Interstate 35W and E. Lake Street, the newspaper reported. But a man who lived there was found dead by firefighters as they searched the building, the newspaper said.

The building, which formerly housed the Roundup Beer Hall, on its roof has a large digital billboard easily viewed from the freeway.

Foul play is not suspected, KARE 11 reported.
