Ridgedale Center in Minnetonka is getting a new attraction this month: an escape room.

Breakout Games has dozens of locations throughout the U.S., and now it's preparing to open it's first Minnesota spot.

According to Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal, it'll open on the mall's lower level March 23.

How does it work?

Well, you'll buy tickets to spend an hour or so locked in a room with some other people. From there, a mystery unfolds and it's up to you and your teammates to solve it.

Descriptions of the scenarios aren't completely available on the website, but you can read a little about them here.

If this idea sounds familiar, it's because these escape room concepts have been pretty popular recently. A few similar places include Riddle Room, Escape MSP and Trapped Puzzle Rooms. For more, click here.

The Mall of America even announced last month that it'll be getting one this year. MOA's will be called The Escape Game, and it will open this summer.
