A Prince 'Cloud' guitar is up for auction

He apparently used this to practice while on tour, and took it all around the globe.

One of the "Cloud" guitars Prince used while touring is up for auction.

The pearly white Schecter Diamond series instrument (which comes with the velvet-lined carrying case) was used as Prince's "personal touring practice guitar," according to the online listing, and traveled with the musician around the globe.

It includes a letter from the owner explaining the chain of custody, plus airline ticket receipts for both Prince and his bodyguard. The guitar had apparently been gifted to one of the Purple One's former bodyguards.

The case is stamped with P.R.N. Production info, as well as a Paisley Park label. Here's the listing.

The guitar is up for bid as part of a collection of Hollywood items, presented by actor Greg Gunberg and California Asset Auctions. Also on the auction list:

Another recent auction included more than 100 Prince-related items, such as his polka dot vest and lace jacket, as well as handwritten notes, press materials, and more.
